It is better to be a BHAKT than antinational at a time when you are branded a SANGHI for anything you say that is rational or pro-India.

With the world class facilities to boot, JNU churns out the third class intellectuals!

You will have difficulty listing listing JNU Social Scientists who have looked at India from Indian perspectives and are recognized for the same.
But in the same JNU, you have good number of Scientists in the Life Sciences etc who have made significant contributions.
Why? Because the Social Science students the country over are victims of mental slavery of which the pure sciences students are relatively spared.

Anyway, JNU episode has done a great service to the nation by exposing the copycat and anti-India character of  the best of educational institutions in the country.

Dear Prof. Thapar

Namaskar. Hope you are doing well despite a non-dynastic party-led govt at the Centre in India.With nearly five decades of dedicated service as a historian to the British and the India-breaking forces almost without a break, who can have better answers to the following questions than your good self?

1. Why is it that Indians produced great works of Art, Literature, Medicine, Mathematics, Linguistics etc but no such work in History (in the European sense of the term) till Kalhan's Rajatarangini?

2. Should we presume they had no history?

3. Or, they had no sense of history?

4. Is the SENSE of TIME in India same as that in Europe?

5. Is this,  the  sense of time, to explain the absence of  'HISTORY BOOKS' in India?

6. What are the sources of myths?

Do they -- myths-- also serve as Indian version of History which is European in it's spirit?

7. Are History, Purana and Itihas one and the same?

Dear Prof. Thapar,
Namaskar and Good Evening too (in case you are indisposed to being addressed in an Indian manner)!
Having been in the business of writing history as a dedicated communist and that in sync with the interests of the  #NehruGandhi #Congress for close to 50  years now, I want to believe that you have the answers to the following questions too:

Q 1. Where from did you get the motivation to catholically kill the #SPIRIT of India so systematically?

Q2. Your #Russian and #Chinese counterparts were very different. Why?

Q3. Was it because theirs were the home-grown varieties while yours was a #CONSPIRED gift from the British ?

Q4. The British who found in your tribe. willing partners ready to blame the victim--Indian #Economy, #Civilization and Culture-- for the loot, plunder and #annihilation suffered at their hands  only?

Q5. Is it not the dance of the POVERTY of your PHILOSOPHY that:
turned #Bengal into a Pauper;
killed the Indian #enterprise;
turned the #Congress party into a #dynasty; and,
reduced universities.to a factory producing #IndiaHatingElite?

Q6. Does not the POVERTY of your philosophy become so obvious in its loud silence over how during the #British rule, #IndianShare in the #GlobalIncome slumped from about 24 % (1750) to less than 2 % in 1947 ?

Q7. How could you keep shut over the issue of #NetajiFiles for nearly 70 years though you knew about this  because of your proximity with the Russians or the Chinese or even the British?
