Decoding JNU-I: Helping the Left Scriptt Its Own Epitaph!

Indian elite is either  'secluded from reason' or  'ethnicized to unreason'...don't recall who said this?
Most likely Dr Niraj K Jha.

But in 1989 in a post-dinner election meeting in the Satluj hostel of JNU, I recall George Fernandes having said of the Indian Left:
THEY ARE THE LAST TO LEARN!

So true. Such a colossal waste of the time and energy of the Indian youth do they embody...don't know if the Left of any other country was so disconnected from its ground realities...may be because they carried the imperial intellectual legacy unlike their Russian or Chinese counterparts...may be because they could never get out of their Macaulay-ian moorings, may be because XYZ...

They didn't gulp the  'opium of religion' yet they remained too intoxicated with Semitic Exclusivity to come to their senses in time...only God knows what went wrong...
Their journey from being #Communists to #Marxists to #Seculars to #Liberals to even #Gandhians is a story akin to that of TRISHANKU (someone who is neither  on the ground nor in the air)...
It is painful, sad, humiliating, intellectually debilitating and alienating...
They refuse to lend themselves to any change...they even refuse to contextualize the Marxian concepts of THESIS,  ANTITHESIS & SYNTHESIS...
Or, what once Joseph Schumpeter  had summed up in his THEORY OF CREATIVE DISTRUCTION...
Dear friends in the Left,
You are scripting your very own EPITAPH in India at a time when the country needed you the most to:
Put up an organized but DESI contestation on anything or everything that the self-preserving ruling class  does and yet goes scot free...
